The Heart of the Region's ministry is to support and enable leaders and congregations to be a transforming presence in the lives of their members and communities.
Your gift to the Annual Fund supports all aspects of Regional Ministry.
*Reconcilliation Ministry Focus - In January we brought together our leaders and launched a three-year strategy to work against the divisions of race and culture that separate us, while working together to be a reconciled and reconciling church.
*Funding and Hosting "Congregational Vitality" events that reach out and touch hearts in the communities such as Chalice's First Responders Event and Principe de Paz's summer music program for neighborhood children.
*Many are the hearts that are transformed at Church Camp, as evidenced by the 160 Campers and Counselors who have just returned. Each year church camp (and youth retreats) provide the opportunity for Arizona Youth to connect with each other and counselors who encourage them to live into their calling as God's children.
*We touch hearts in the most remote parts of the world. A new Regional Global Mission Team has been launched and is working to connect the many ministries of Christ's church throughout the world, the region and most importantly, within congregations and their members.
These are just a few of the places where the Region engages in ministries of transformation. You too are at the heart of the ministry. One heart at a time, your gift provides resources which sustain these and other important ministries.
